Wendy is a licensed Loan Consultant with Nevada County Mortgage, bringing nearly three decades of lending experience to every client she serves. A Nevada County resident for more than 45 years, Wendy combines deep local roots with a strong business foundation, including an Associate Degree in Business earned with honors.

Wendy understands that buying or refinancing a home can feel overwhelming, which is why she’s passionate about making the process as smooth, clear, and stress-free as possible. What truly sets her apart is her extensive “behind-the-scenes” background. Before becoming a licensed loan consultant, Wendy spent roughly 10 years working as a loan processor, document preparer, and warehouse funder - experience she often describes as a real-world lending internship. This comprehensive, end-to-end knowledge allows her to anticipate challenges, explain options clearly, and confidently guide clients through every phase of the loan process.

Her approach is rooted in education, communication, and advocacy. Wendy takes pride in coaching borrowers step-by-step, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and empowered to make the best decisions for their financial future.

Outside the office, Wendy enjoys making the most of everything the Sierra foothills have to offer - from outdoor adventures (including completing the 36-mile leg of America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride) to her favorite creative outlet: cooking and baking. If she had to name an inspiration, it would be Giada De Laurentiis, whose passion for food and creativity mirrors Wendy’s own love of bringing joy to others - whether through a great meal or a successful home loan.
